About Succession Labs

Succession Labs is an AI-native legal services company focused on estate planning and estate administration.

Our first consumer business, Blanket, has delivered more than 4,200 wills and powers of attorney since launching in the UAE, including more than 350 UK wills for international clients.

We are now launching in England and Wales.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced private-client solicitor to become our UK subject-matter lead and help build the UK business.

You will own the legal development of our UK offering across wills, lasting powers of attorney and estate administration.

You will work closely with the founder and the team building the product, bringing legal judgement into how the UK service is designed and developed.

You will also help define how the UK service operates day to day and how it develops as we grow.

As we launch, you may also work directly with customers and represent the company publicly.

What we’re looking for

  • Solicitor qualified in England and Wales with a current practising certificate.
  • Strong practical experience across wills and estate administration, ideally also LPAs, trusts and inheritance tax.
  • Likely 3–6+ PQE, although judgement and breadth matter more than a particular year of qualification.
  • Strong communication skills and practical legal judgement.
  • Interest in technology and AI.
  • Comfortable working in a small team with a broad remit.

Startup experience and technical skills are not required.

The role

You will work directly with the founder and have a large amount of ownership over how the UK service is built.

What you know will be built into how we serve every client, so your judgement reaches thousands of families, not dozens.

The role can grow into a broader leadership position as the UK business develops.
